For larger area's we can increase your loft storage capacity for typically around £64/m thereafter subject to site survey.

If your house was originally constructed with a loft hatch then the answer is yes. British standards BS6399-1: 1996 for new homes installed with a loft hatch require trusses to be designed to carry 25Kg per square meter storage load plus the temporary load of a person moving around in the loft.
No, installing a raised loft storage system does not invalidate your warranty, but any defects found to result from the installation of any system (such as condensation or structural damage etc.) after the house has been built would not be covered by the warranty. Therefore homeowners install at their own risk. This applies to any changes made to the building after the warranty period has begun. We can therefore confirm that if loft access is provided, a correctly installed and loaded Loft Leg XL raised loft storage system will not invalidate the warranty.
The loft stilts are strong and can support weights of 500kg however, they do not change the load bearing characteristics of a loft.
British Standards BS6399-1:1996 for new build homes installed with a loft hatch require trusses to be designed to carry a 25Kg per square metre storage load plus the temporary load of a person moving around in the loft. Some homes may have been designed to exceed this but if you want to exceed 25Kg per square metre we would recommend consulting a structural engineer.
The aluminium loft ladder extends over to 3m with 3 overlapping sections that retracts into the loft and can be lowered when access is needed. The Max static vertical load is 150kg or 23.6st. The Anti-slip D shaped rungs provide ultimate comfort for your safety when in use and is provided with a 3 years manufacturers guarantee.
